NEWS: BCPA Named in Provincial Agreement
Last Friday, the BC NDP and Greens announced a cooperation agreement, called the 2024 Co-operation and Responsible Government Accord. The document states that "Government will work with the BC psychological Association (BCPPA) and the BCGC to expand public coverage of psychologists with an investment of $50 million. This investment will benefit all British Columbians, including youth and children."
BCPA President, Dr. Erika Horwitz shares, "We are encouraged by the commitment in this agreement that the government will work with us to expand public coverage of psychologists. Everyone at BCPA is eager to continue to collaborate with the Ministry of Health to ensure the swift and effective implementation of access to psychological services.”
